Rinceoir Cattery
Our Retiring Cats
Retired Cat's Information

Please understand that we retire our queens and studs because we have to move on with our programs in order to continue with their linage. That by no means, means we do not love these cats. Just like our kittens, these cats are placed in homes that suit them. This way we are able to move on with our programs.
We Love them no differently then any other cat in our program. If we were to keep every cat we bred, we would have a serious influx of cats and could be considered hoarders because of the numbers we would have within the cattery, both breeding and retired. So rather then becoming hoarders, we would rather place our animals in the greatest homes we can find for them and give them the chance to become loving pets. "We actually care about all cats in our cattery".

The price for our retiring cats is between $400 to $500. The package included per cat:

- A health exam from our vet with a health guarantee.
- Records of vaccinations (including rabies certification), deworming, and flea control.
- Microchip information for the cat.
- FIV/FeLV test results (Original testing, willing to retest on request).
- The cat's registration and pedigree.
- Certification of spay or neuter.
- A copy of the catteries Kitten/Cat contract which also has a health and genetic guarantee.
- Will provide a small bag of the premium dry food and a can of soft food which the cat has been eating.
- A cat care instruction guide to make the transition to the new home easier.

If there is a cat in our cattery that you think you would want to invest in getting as a retiree, you are welcome to contact the cattery and make a request. Please understand that the retirement age of our cats is usually between 2 to 4 years old, but can vary. Also keep in mind that it is up to the breeder when the cat is retired.
